Foreign object debris (FOD) of an airport runway refers to a foreign substance, debris, or object that may damage an aircraft or system. They can cause serious problems. They threaten the normal operation of aircrafts and waste valuable time for aircraft staff.
Our system selects the key position of the specific road surface to be inspected according to the length and width of the airport runway. The monitoring system adjusts the PTZ according to the position, tracks and photographs the foreign objects. It will then perform intelligent analysis and send relevant information to the main control system for analysis and processing, giving an alarm prompt.

This system exploits radar to search for suspicious small, slow and low altitude (‘low, slow, small’) targets. Then it uses infrared thermal imaging combined with high-resolution camera to track and monitor the surrounding ‘low, slow, small’ targets. The target is identified based on AI technology. The terminal electronic map displays the object position in real time, and finally the on-board radio detection / photoelectric / radio frequency interference equipment approaches the object and tackles it.
